DMCA Policy

DMCA Policy

Effective Date: April 18, 2026
Website: getuserreviews.com
Owner: Natasha Morgan

This DMCA Policy explains how getuserreviews.com handles copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”).

1. What Is the DMCA?

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act is a United States copyright law that provides a “safe harbor” for online service providers against copyright infringement liability, provided they follow specific procedures. This safe harbor protects us from being held financially responsible for copyright infringement committed by users of our website, as long as we respond appropriately to valid takedown notices.

Our website respects intellectual property rights and expects all users to do the same.

2. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(i)(1)(A)), we maintain a strict policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts or access of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyright.

  • We keep records of all DMCA notices received.
  • Users who receive multiple valid DMCA takedown notices may have their access to our website terminated.
  • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove or disable access to any material that appears to infringe copyright, with or without prior notice.

3. Designated DMCA Agent

We have designated a copyright agent to receive notifications of claimed infringement (“DMCA Takedown Notices”). All DMCA notices must be sent to our designated agent using the contact information below.

5. What Happens After We Receive a Valid Notice

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA Takedown Notice, we will:

  • Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  • Make a reasonable attempt to notify the user who posted the material that the content has been removed or disabled.

6. Important Note on Bad-Faith Notices

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), you may be held liable for damages (including costs and attorneys’ fees) if you knowingly make false claims of copyright infringement. If you are unsure whether material infringes your copyright, you should consult an attorney before submitting a DMCA notice.

7. Submitting a DMCA Counter-Notification

  4. Good Faith Statement: The following statement: “I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.”

8. What Happens After We Receive a Valid Counter-Notification

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will:

  • Inform the original complainant that we will restore the removed material within 10 to 14 business days unless they notify us that they have filed a court action seeking a court order to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity.

If we do not receive notice of a filed court action within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the removed material.
